Submitting a Guest Article for Religious Mystery Blog
If you would like to submit a post, please keep the following in mind:
The focus of ReligiousMystery is murder-mystery novels with a religious bent. Hence our main audience includes readers and authors of mystery and suspense who enjoy a bit of religion thrown in. I will accept for review those articles that are potentially of interest to our primary audience

Topics for articles may include—but are not limited to—the following:
- Specific authors (e. g., G. K Chesterton or Julia Spencer-Fleming).
- Specific novels (e. g., Umberto Eco’s The Name of the Rose or Agatha Christie’s Murder at the Vicarage).
- Reviews of specific novels.
- Sub-categories (e. g., “women clergy sleuths” or “murders in monasteries” ).
- Series (e. g., Ellis Peters’ Brother Cadfael series or Ralph McInerny’s Father Dowling series).
- Other such topics may very well be acceptable.

Determining the Status of Your Article
I will review your submission as soon as possible, but this can depend on the volume of articles I receive. I will notify you as soon as I have approved your article and advise when you can expect to see it published.
Guest Post Guidelines
- Posts should be well-written, concise and beneficial to ReligiousMystery blog readers.
- Please send via e-mail attachment a formatted MS Word document.
- Please refrain from excessive links to your own site. I will give you full credit, including your real name and/or your pen name, a link to your web site, and a link to your blog. You may include links to other sites that support quotes you use or other allusions. You may request other links.
- Articles should be between 400 and 600 words.
- Please answer all comments to your post.
- Please attach a brief author bio.
- I reserve the right to edit posts for grammar and legibility.
- The article that you write for ReligiousMystery must be original, meaning that it is your own work. I do, however, accept your work that may have been published on another web site or blog.
